A street urchin falls in love with a princess but it'll take a magic genie to win her hand amongst all her rich and powerful suitors... or will it? Anything can happen in Agrabah, City of Enchantment - where every beggar has a story and every camel has a tail! The animated movie comes to life on stage at the Julia Morgan Center for the Arts this summer with all your favorite characters (Ali, Abu, Jasmine and the Magic Genie) and all your favorite tunes written by the Menken/Ashman/Rice team including, "Arabian Nights," "Friend Like Me," and "A Whole New World". Jennifer King directs the professional West Coast Premiere of Disney's Aladdin with Amy Dalton directing music and Dane Paul Andres directing choreography, to tell the classic Arabian tale of the magic lamp with Disney charm, Broadway spectacle, and lots of Bollywood-style buoyancy.
